Dr. Nowreen Haq is an experienced endocrinologist with over 20 years of clinical and academic experience, specializing in complex diabetes, cardiometabolic health, obesity, and transgender endocrinology. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Haq is affiliated with Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center and the University of Maryland Medical Center. She brings a robust academic background, with additional training from Yale, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, and NIH.


In addition to patient care, Dr. Haq is active in research, contributing to numerous publications and clinical trials focused on epidemiology, global health, and healthcare management. She also serves as an Associate Program Director for Luminis Health’s Internal Medicine Residency Program and serves as Faculty (honorary) of University of Maryland Medical System and  Mentors trainees at Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. She also serves as faculty speaker at the Board Review Series MedStudy and Chief Editor of Endocrinology at PubMed affiliated Stat Pearls Publishing Inc.
